1 deep dish pie crust shell
1 lb ground beef
3/4 C chopped onion
1 pkg taco seasoning mix (1-1/4 oz)
1 can refried beans (16 oz)
1 jar taco sauce (8 oz)
1 C shredded cheddar cheese
1 Prehead oven and baking sheet to 400 degrees
Partially bake pie crust for 10 minutes; cool.
Reduce oven temp to 350 degrees
2 In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion;
drain fat. Stir in taco seasoning mix.
3 In a small mixing bowl, combine refried beans and
1/2 cup taco sauce.
4 Layer 1/2 of the seasoned meat mixture in bottom of
shell and top with 1/2 of the refried beans; repeat
5 Sprinkle cheese on top; bake 25 minutes
6 Remove from oven and cool 10 minutes. Top with
lettuce, tomato and remaining taco sauce.
